WAPPINGER FALLS, NY – One day after finishing first at the Mardi-Bob Invitational, the women's bowling team placed second out of four teams at the Westchester Classic, which was held at the Ace Bowl Holiday Lanes in Wappinger Falls, NY Sunday.
Senior Katie Freisatz (Schenectady, NY/Mohonasen) and junior Kourtni Pratt (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) were both named to the All-Tournament Team after Freisatz finished third in all-events with a six-game score of 1169 and teamed with senior Megan McGurn (Slingerlands, NY/Bethlehem) to win the doubles competition with a score of 1161, while Pratt won the singles event with a three-game series of 609 and finished fourth in all-events with a six-game score of 1148.
McGurn placed seventh in singles competition and finished with a six-game total of 1068. Junior
Amanda Pratt (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) finished with a six-game series of 1098 and junior
Tabatha Williams (Endwell, NY/Herkimer County CC) bowled a six-game set of 1073 to round out the top Lady Wildcat finishers.
The Wildcats will be back in action this Saturday, February 12 when they travel to participate in the Boulevard Bowl Collegiate Classic, which will be held at the Boulevard Bowl in Schenectady, NY.
