WXC: Wildcats Place Fourth in Short Course Invitational


Utica, N.Y - The SUNY Poly Women's Cross Country team hosted the SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational on August 30th. Four teams in total competed in the 4k race, with SUNY Poly finishing in fourth place.

Junior Anya Sloth of SUNY Oneonta took first place in the race, finishing with an impressive time of 16:58.9 
 

Overall, SUNY Oneonta took home the top prize, compiling a total of 23 points. Utica University secured second place with 42points. With 65 points SUNY Cobleskill took home third, while SUNY Poly finished the race in fourth place with 120 points.. 

Kirsten Lighthall finished with the best time for the Wildcats, securing 22nd place with a time of 28:35.4

UP NEXT:

The Wildcats will travel to SUNY Oneonta on Friday, September 5th to take part in the Oneonta Airfield Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5 P.M.
