Houghton, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's cross country team competed in the 2024 Empire 8 Championship. Rosalea Claeys was the lone Wildcat competitor, finishing in 108th place with a time of 28:30.8

SUNY Geneseo runners led the way, filling up eight of the top ten spots. SUNY Geneseo Knight Penelope Greene topped the list of all runners, finishing with a time of 21:26.1. SUNY Geneseo placed first in the competition, with Nazareth, Utica, St. John Fisher and Brockport rounding out the top five.
