ABINGTON, PA – SUNYIT senior Daniel Twumasi (Brroklyn, NY/James Madison) scored a goal in double overtime to give the Wildcats a 1-0 victory over NEAC rival Penn State Abington Saturday.  The Wildcat are now 2-0 in conference play and 5-2 overall.

SUNYIT was able to out-shoot Abington 18-7 but could not put the game away until after 117 minutes of action, when Twumasi found the back of the net off an assist from freshman and reigning NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week Diego Montaleza (New York, NY/MLK).

Freshman Malick Faye (Bronx, NY/MLK) made four saves for the Wildcats, as did Abington's Kyle Ejsmont.
