Utica, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men's cross country team competed in a four-team meet, finishing in third place with a total of 81 points. The Wildcats were led by freshman Cameron Volk, who secured seventh place overall with a time of 21:37.8.

Utica University took home first place with 17 points, while Hartwick finished second with 61 points. SUNY Poly followed in third place with 81 points, while Mohawk Valley Community College rounded out the team standings with 92 points.

Volk led the way for the Wildcats, finishing seventh overall with a time of 21:37.8. Freshman Gavin Nelson followed in 14th place with a time of 23:13.6, while senior Jack McCarthy secured 19th place after crossing the finish line in 25:03.5. Freshman Charles Patterson finished 20th with a time of 25:41.6, while sophomore Bryan Doyle rounded out the Wildcats' scoring runners in 21st place with a time of 26:47.0.

Freshman Luca Gillia finished 22nd overall with a time of 27:00.8, followed by sophomore Ethan Baker in 26th place with a time of 29:44.7. Junior Gannon Lisberg recorded a time of 31:16.3, while freshman Jakeem Riggs finished in 34:16.5. Sophomore Cole Jensen rounded out the SUNY Poly runners with a time of 34:43.5.
