Rochester, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's cross country team competed in the Empire 8 Championship on Saturday. The Wildcats took home ninth place, while senior Noah Breedy led SUNY Poly with an 86th place finish with a time of 32:29.0

Junior Bennett Melita secured the top spot for Utica University with a time of 25:34.2 SUNY Genseo claimed six of the top 10 spots in the event, ultimately giving them first place in the event. Utica University, Houghton University and SUNY Brockport all closely followed.Â
