Utica, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men's cross country team finished fourth at the newly renamed Bill Tylutki Wildcat Invitational on Saturday, recording 106 points as the Wildcats hosted the annual meet. The event was renamed in honor of legendary SUNY Poly cross country coach Bill Tylutki, who dedicated more than 20 years to building and leading a premier cross country program at the institution. During his tenure, Tylutki coached six men's championship teams and one women's championship team, produced 53 All-Conference student-athletes and earned Coach of the Year honors six times.

Hobart won the team competition with 31 points, followed by Hudson Valley Community College with 36 points and Hartwick with 77 points. SUNY Poly finished fourth with 106 points, while Keuka rounded out the team standings with 115 points.

Freshman Cameron Volk led the Wildcats, finishing seventh overall with a time of 29:38.4. Freshman Gavin Nelson followed in 16th place with a time of 31:35.1, while senior Jack McCarthy finished 26th with a time of 34:18.2. Freshman Charles Patterson placed 28th overall after crossing the finish line in 34:36.8, while sophomore Bryan Doyle rounded out the Wildcats' scoring runners in 29th place with a time of 35:32.7.

Freshman Luca Gillia finished 31st overall with a time of 36:33.4, followed closely by sophomore Ethan Baker in 32nd place with a time of 36:37.8. Junior Gannon Lisberg recorded a time of 38:57.3, while freshman Jakeem Riggs finished in 42:30.8. Sophomore Cole Jensen rounded out the SUNY Poly runners with a time of 47:20.7.
