2026 Hall of Fame Inductees:
Robert Doss (2008–2011) – Men's Cross Country
Robert Doss was one of the most accomplished runners in SUNY Poly men's cross country history during his four-year career from 2008–2011. A consistent top finisher for the Wildcats, Doss earned four consecutive All-Conference honors, including Third Team recognition in 2008, Second Team honors in 2009, and First Team selections in both 2010 and 2011.
Over the course of his collegiate career, Doss continuously improved his times on the regional stage, culminating in a personal-best 27:19.7 at the 2011 NCAA Regional Championships hosted by St. Lawrence University. In 2010, he finished second overall at the NEAC Championships with a time of 28:31, earning the distinction of being the top SUNYIT finisher. Doss also served as team captain during his senior season, helping lead the Wildcats both on and off the course.
"I am incredibly honored and humbled to be selected for the SUNY Poly Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026, " said Robert. "Looking back on my four years with the cross country program, I'm grateful for the coaches, teammates, friends, and family who supported me every step of the way and helped shape both my athletic and personal growth. This recognition means so much to me, and I'm proud to have been part of such a special program."
Chris Fratini (2007–2010) – Baseball
Chris Fratini established himself as one of the most dominant hitters in SUNY Poly baseball history during his standout career from 2007–2010. A two-time First Team All-Conference selection and the 2010 NEAC Player of the Year, Fratini left an enduring mark on the program record book, highlighted by a .400 career batting average that ranks among the best in school history.
Fratini's senior season in 2010 is widely regarded as one of the greatest individual campaigns in program history. Starting all 40 games, he led the Wildcats in virtually every major offensive category, batting .511 with a .950 slugging percentage and .577 on-base percentage while recording 72 hits, 49 RBIs, 44 runs scored, 13 doubles, seven home runs, 14 stolen bases, and a program-record 14 triples. He broke single-season school records for batting average, slugging percentage, hits, RBIs, runs scored, triples, total bases, and at-bats.
For his career, Fratini amassed 130 hits, 214 total bases, and 78 RBIs while establishing himself as one of the most dangerous extra-base threats in program history. He still holds the school record for career triples with 19 and ranks among the program's all-time leaders in total bases, slugging percentage (.658), home runs, hits, RBIs, and stolen bases. His combination of power, speed, and consistency helped cement his legacy as one of the premier players ever to wear a Wildcats uniform.
"When John reached out to let me know I had been selected for the Hall of Fame, I was definitely caught off guard, but incredibly honored," said Chris. "Playing baseball at SUNYIT, now SUNY Poly, remains one of my favorite college memories. I'm grateful for the support of my coaches and teammates, and I'm especially proud to have been part of the team that won the school's first-ever conference championship."
Fallon Reinold (2013–2016) – Softball
Fallon Reinold was one of the premier two-way players in SUNY Poly softball history from 2013–2016, excelling both in the pitching circle and at the plate. Reinold concluded her career tied for first all-time in pitching victories with 37 wins while also ranking second in innings pitched (362.0) and strikeouts (342).
Offensively, Reinold was equally impactful, appearing in 141 career games while compiling a .330 batting average, 152 hits, 122 runs scored, and 62 RBIs. Her all-around production helped cement her place among the most accomplished players in program history.
A three-time First Team All-Conference selection, Reinold's senior season in 2016 was particularly historic as she earned both NEAC Player of the Year and NEAC Pitcher of the Year honors after leading the Wildcats on both sides of the game.
"Being inducted into the SUNY Poly Athletics Hall of Fame for softball is an incredible honor and something I am deeply grateful for," said Fallon. "My time as a student-athlete helped shape who I am both on and off the field, and I'm proud to be recognized alongside so many outstanding athletes."
Nakeya Stedman (2015–2018) – Women's Soccer
Nakeya Stedman left an unforgettable legacy on the SUNY Poly women's soccer program from 2015–2018, becoming the most prolific scorer in school history. Stedman finished her career as the program's all-time leader in points (114), goals (52), and game-winning goals (17).
Her offensive dominance was equally apparent in single-season performances, as her 18 goals remain the highest single-season total in program history, while her 40-point campaign ranks second all-time. A two-time All-Conference selection, Stedman consistently delivered in key moments and played a major role in elevating the women's soccer program during her career.
"When I received the phone call letting me know I was being inducted into the Hall of Fame I was both shocked and excited," said Nakeya. "It was an incredible honor and a meaningful recognition of the hard work and dedication I put in during my four years at SUNY Poly."
Coach Bill Tylutki – Cross Country
Coach Bill Tylutki played a transformative role in the success and growth of the SUNY Poly cross country programs during his tenure with the Wildcats. Under his leadership, the men's cross country team captured six NEAC Championships in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017, while the women's program claimed a conference title in 2018.
Tylutki also guided three conference runner-up teams and was recognized numerous times for his coaching excellence, earning five Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year honors and one Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year award. Throughout his career, he coached 53 All-Conference selections, one Rookie of the Year recipient, and one NEAC Runner of the Year honoree.
His dedication to student-athlete development and competitive excellence helped establish SUNY Poly as one of the premier cross country programs in the conference during his tenure.
"When I received the phone call from John informing me that I had been selected for the SUNY Poly Athletics Hall of Fame, I was truly humbled," said Bill. "This honor reflects not only the accomplishments of our cross country program, but also the dedication of the many athletes, assistant coaches, and staff members who made those successes possible. My 18 years at SUNY Poly were an incredible experience filled with hard work, growth, and lasting memories, and I'm proud of how far the program came during that time."
