Manhattanville took control after that, scoring three consecutive goals, including a goal from Jocelyn Mazo at 10:21 and two from Kathleen O'Mara and Kaci Pierce. SUNY Poly managed to sneak one in at the end of the quarter, with Madyn LaFleur scoring a man-up goal, but the Valiants led 4-2 at the end of the first.

Manhattaville's offense continued to roll in the second quarter. After a yellow card, the team came back strong, with Jocelyn Mazo finding the net at 11:48. The teams traded goals, with SUNY Poly's Abigail Rosaschi scoring on a free-position attempt at 5:05, but Manhattanville's Kaci Pierce completed a hat trick at 5:33, making it 8-4. The quarter ended with the Valiants up 9-5.

Manhattanville's momentum carried into the second half. Kaci Pierce added two more goals, while Kathleen O'Mara and Sydney Natale also found the back of the net, pushing MVILLE's lead to 12-5. Despite a few opportunities for SUNY Poly, including a free-position shot by Brinley Ronan, Manhattanville closed the quarter with a 14-5 lead.

The Wildcats showed some fight early in the fourth, with Brinley Ronan scoring off an assist from Callie Johnson, but the Valiants quickly answered.
