Utica, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women's soccer team dropped their fifth consecutive game, falling to the undefeated SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles 4-0 at home. The Golden Eagles registered 15 shots on goal and earned 10 corner kicks, while the Wildcats were held to just one shot. SUNY Poly's record now stands at 4-6 for the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Brockport struck early, with McKenna Slate finding the net in the 9th minute. The Golden Eagles continued their offensive pressure, netting their second goal in the 36th minute and taking a 2-0 lead into halftime, having held the Wildcats without a shot.
The second half saw immediate action, as Amelia Breton scored her fourth goal of the season just a minute after the break. The game remained scoreless for the next 30 minutes until Brockport sealed the win with a fourth goal in the 80th minute.
