Utica, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw against the Nazareth Golden Flyers. Both teams had opportunities to secure a win, with the Wildcats recording 12 shots and the Golden Flyers 11. The Wildcats now hold a record of 8-3-4 this season and sit in seventh place in the Empire 8 standings.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The first half saw both teams applying offensive pressure, each registering at least six shots. Goalkeepers Ryan Primus and Logan Menna delivered solid performances, ensuring the score remained 0-0 at halftime.
The second half mirrored the first in terms of action, with multiple shots from both sides. The intensity increased, resulting in three yellow cards for the Wildcats and one for the Golden Flyers. Ultimately, neither team found the back of the net, leading to the game ending in a 0-0 draw—marking the Wildcats' fourth tie of the season.
