Utica, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men's soccer team celebrated Senior Day in style, defeating Keuka College 4-0. The Wildcats dominated the match, outshooting the Wolves 25-6, with all four goals scored in the first half. This victory improves the Wildcats' record to 7-3-1 overall, including a conference mark of 2-2-1.
Match Highlights:
The Wildcats quickly took control, with Justin Andriola scoring his first goal of the season just three minutes into the match. Six minutes later, Abus Mohamed-Ali netted his third goal of the season, assisted by Edgar Gomez. Freshman Nazim Harizi followed suit, scoring just three minutes after that. Kevin Ryan capped the first-half scoring with a penalty kick in the 19th minute.
The second half saw fewer opportunities, as neither team was able to find the net. The Wildcats secured a comfortable 4-0 victory and now turn their attention to their next matchup against Sage at home on October 16th.
