MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Men's Volleyball Team (11-10, 4-6 NEAC) swept Hilbert (1-19, 1-8 NEAC) Sunday afternoon. The Wildcats played the Hawks to scores of 25-23, 25-17, and 25-16.

Sunday's match honored the team's four seniors, Dan Feltes (Burnt Hills, N.Y. / Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake), Justin Rich (Hamburg, N.Y. / Eden), Jeff Knapp (Hamlin, N.Y. / Brockport), and Evan Smith (Saugerties, N.Y. / Saugerties), for each of their four years of dedication to the team.

After a close first set, the Wildcats were able to pull away from the Hawks in the second and third sets. A.J. Davids (Hilton, N.Y. / Hilton) led the team with 9 kills and also added 3 digs. Nick Hagen (Hilton, N.Y. / Hilton) added 8 kills of his own and 3 blocks. Knapp led the Wildcats in assists with 16 and Zach Goggin (Feeding Hills, Mass. / Agawam) added 8. Rich led the team defensively with 10 digs while seven of his teammates also recorded multiple digs.

SUNY Poly returns to action next weekend at Lancaster Bible where they will compete in a NEAC Crossover.
