Marcy, N.Y.- The SUNYIT men's volleyball team squared up against the Cazenovia Wildcats on Wednesday in their first ever NEAC Conference match. The Wildcats of SUNYIT were able to earn the victory in 3 sets easily by scores of 4-25, 12-25, and 5-25.

The SUNYIT  Wildcats were led by solid play from Dan O'Connor (Latham, N.Y. / Shaker) and Timothy Maracic (Franklin Square, N.Y. / Carey). O'Connor registered a game high 7 service aces and 5 digs. Maracic registered a game high 8 kills and also had 4 aces, 3 digs and a block.

The win brings SUNYIT's overall record to 2-4 and drops Cazenovia's record to 0-4. The men will continue their season on Saturday (2/9) at Medaille College. The Match is set to start at 9:00 am.
