Brockport, N.Y. - The SUNY poly women's lacrosse team struggled on the road against the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles, losing by a score of 18-1. The Wildcats' lone goal came from Abigail Rosaschi in the fourth quarter. The Wildcats are now 1-7 on the season.Â

Brockport wasted no time, jumping out to a 6-0 lead in the opening quarter. Hailey Lewkovich and Alayna Foos were instrumental, combining for several goals and assists. SUNY Poly struggled to gain momentum, with several turnovers disrupting their offensive flow. Despite several strong saves from goalie Jayden Brown, who faced relentless pressure, Brockport's attack proved overwhelming. By halftime, the score stood at 14-0.
Brockport continued to dominate in the third quarter, extending their lead to 18-0. The Blue and Gold showed resilience throughout, with key players like Abigail Rosaschi and Katelynn Truax making valuable contributions. SUNY Poly's persistence paid off when Rosaschi found the back of the net in the fourth quarter to break the shutout, making the final score 18-1.Â
