Houghton, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's cross country team competed in the 2024 Empire 8 Championship, finishing in ninth place. Jack McCarthy led the way for the Wildcats, finishing in 105th place with a time of 29:59.7

SUNY Geneseo runners led the way, filling up seven of the top ten spots.SUNY Geneseo Knight Ryan Hagen topped the list of all runners, finishing with a time of 24:10.2. SUNY Geneseo placed first in the competition, with Brockport, Houghton, Nazareth and Utica rounding out the top five.
