Rochester, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women's soccer team faced a tough defeat against the Nazareth Golden Eagles, falling 6-0 on the road. The Wildcats managed only three shots compared to Nazareth's 17 and were awarded just two corners to the Golden Eagles' 14. With this loss, the Wildcats' record now stands at 5-9-1 for the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Nazareth opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with Makaelynn Neivels' second goal of the season. The Golden Eagles quickly doubled their lead shortly after, sending the Wildcats to halftime down 2-0.

The second half saw Nazareth extend their advantage with a goal in the 58th minute, making it 3-0. Two more goals from Neivels and Lauryn Obey pushed the score to 5-0 by the 75th minute. Nazareth capped off the match with one final goal, securing a decisive 6-0 victory.
