Houghton, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men's soccer team secured a crucial Empire 8 conference victory over the Houghton Highlanders, winning 4-0. The Wildcats showcased their offensive talent, outshooting the Highlanders 22-9, with 12 players contributing shots. With this win, the Wildcats improved to 8-3-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Edgar Gomez and Payton Bennett connected in the 26th minute to break the scoreless tie. The Wildcats struck again in the 35th minute, as Justin Andriola set up Matthew McCord for the second goal of the game. Despite a few additional opportunities, the Wildcats headed into halftime with a 2-0 lead.

Early in the second half, Kevin Ryan added to the score, making it 3-0. Just over ten minutes later, Jhonny Theze netted his seventh goal of the season, sealing the game at 4-0.
