THE GOALS:

The Wildcat's second goal of the game was off of a corner kick from Payton Bennett put the corner to the far side of the box for Wakeley Banker who won his matchup and headed a shot past the keeper to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead in the second half.

The Wildcat's third goal of the game started with a perfectly played-through ball over the top of the defense by Abus Mohamed-Ali. He found Dominick Spychalski who put one touch on the ball right into open space where he out ran the left back for the Kangaroos. Spychalski hit a well-placed left-footed chip shot over the diving keeper to record his second goal of the season.

SUNY Canton scored a goal of their own to cut the Wildcat lead to two in the 86th minute. Evan Petersen scored unassisted after a failed clearance gave him a golden opportunity to score. Petersen gathered the ball and hit a hard low shot under D'Alessio who dove to attempt a save.

The Wildcats capped their victory with a late penalty kick. Abus Mohamed-Ali drew a hard foul in the box to send Matthew McCord to the penalty spot to attempt to make it a three-goal game. McCord made the most of the opportunity, hitting a low dribbler to the right post to score.
