MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's soccer team opened up their 2021 season with a convincing 9-0 win over Hilbert in non-conference play. Eight players scored their first goals of the season for the Wildcats. The SUNY Poly defensive unit played a strong game, allowing just one shot for the Hawks.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES: 

• Cole Wright scored the first two goals of the game for the Wildcats. He was the only Wildcat with multiple goals in the game. 

• Edgar Gomez, Abus Mohamed-Ali, and Aboubacar Camara each had three points in the game on a goal and an assist. 

• T.J. Tytler, Festus Alonge, Doreion Alleyne, and Wakeley Banker each netted a goal in the win. 

• Zach Westadt had an assist. 

• Chase Coluccio earned his first win of the season in goal. He did not face a single shot on goal. 

UP NEXT: 

The Wildcats will travel to Nazareth on Wednesday, September 8th to take on the Golden Flyers. The game is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM.
