ALBANY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's volleyball team opened up their season on Wednesday at Sage College. Despite hard play and close sets, the Wildcats fell to the Gators in four (25-23, 25-21, 23-25, 27-25). With the loss, the Wildcats record falls to 0-1.

Emma Larson (Miller Place N.Y. / Miller Place HS) had a match high 18 kills on the day. She compiled a .214 attack percentage, 12 digs, and two aces. Freshman Sydney Johnson (Nine Mile Falls, W.A. / Lakeside HS) had 8 digs and a match high 29 setting assists. Senior outside hitter Morgan Eberley (Utica, N.Y / Whitesboro HS) recorded 13 kills, 13 digs, 2 blocks, and an ace.

The Wildcats are back in action on Saturday, September 5th at SUNY Canton where they will take on Plymouth at 12:00pm and Potsdam at 2:00pm.
