MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Women's Volleyball Team lost a tight first set to SUNY Canton in their first match on Friday, 25-23. It was the closest the ladies would come, as the tournament hosts went on to defeat the Wildcats in straight sets, 3-0.

Senior captain Kaitlyn Harrington (Central Square, N.Y. / Paul V. Moore) led the Wildcats in kills with 9, while Morgan Bills led the victors with 11.

The Wildcats second match of the SUNY Canton Invitational took place at 8 pm against Johnson State. Results were still pending at time of publication.
