MBB: Gregory and Canty Earn NEAC All-Conference Honors. LATHAM, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its 2019-20 Men’s Basketball All-Conference selections, honoring the top 18 players in the league regardless of position. The First, Second and Third Team are each comprised of six players as selected by the conference coaches. The three individual award winners are also determined by coaches’ votes. The SUNY Poly Wildcats had two of their players named to the All-Conference Teams. Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) was a 1st team selection, Caleb Canty (Hudson, N.Y.) was a second-team selection.Full Story

The Wildcats started strong and kept their foot on the gas building a commanding lead going into halftime with a 44-21 lead. Coming off their four-overtime victory Wednesday the Wildcats went down to Penn College and came out with a 91-82 victory. SUNY Poly got off to an early lead in the first half and controlled the game as they went into the half up 56-51. They came out of half hot to keep control of the game and head back home with a crucial NEAC victory. The Wildcats currently have a 10-3 NEAC record and are tied with Morrisville State for the lead in the North Division.Full Story
