    MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team is heading to the NEAC Championship on Sunday after earning a 21-16 win over Keuka College in the NEAC Semifinals. The Wildcats never trailed in the game and grew their lead to as many as eight goals. The Wildcats will face the Morrisville Mustangs for the title on Sunday, May 5th at 1:00 PM. The Mustangs advanced to the NEAC final in a blowout win over Cazenovia on Saturday.

    GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced the 2019 NEAC All-Conference Teams for women’s lacrosse as voted on by the Head Coaches of the NEAC. The SUNY  Poly Wildcats were well represented with Samantha Dayter (Cohoes, N.Y.) named the NEAC Rookie of the Year and five players named to All-Conference teams.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team advanced to the NEAC Semifinal round on Tuesday with a 19-12 win over the Medaille College Mavericks in the NEAC Quarterfinal. The Wildcats are now 11-6 this season. The NEAC Final Four will feature #1 Morrisville, #2 Keuka College, #3 SUNY Poly, and #4 Cazenovia. The Wildcats will take on Keuka in the first round on Saturday at Morrisville State. The game was historically significant for the Wildcats as it saw Kayla Prosinski (Endwell, N.Y.) become the first Wildcat to ever score 100 goals in a single season.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team took down Hartwick on Wednesday on the road in a competitive 15-13 game. The win brings the Wildcats season record to 10-5. In the first half, the Wildcats and the Hawks traded goals back and forth in the first half with the lead changing hands four times in 30 minutes. The first half ended in a 7-7 tie. The second half was more of the same, but the Wildcats scored three of the last four goals of the game to earn the win.

    GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its NEAC student-athletes of the week for women's lacrosse on Monday. SUNY Poly's Kayla Prosinski was selected as the NEAC Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth consecutive week after having yet another fantastic week for the Wildcats. Kayla is the first player at SUNY Poly to be named the NEAC Player of the Week four consecutive times.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team earned a thrilling win over Wells College on Sunday in an epic shootout which saw 45 goals scored. The game was one of the finest displays of scoring to ever take place at SUNY Poly’s Wildcat field, with a final score of 23-22. With the one-goal win, the Wildcats improve to 7-0 in NEAC play. The game was all tied up with less than a minute left in regulation when Kayla Prosinski (Endwell, N.Y.) scored the game-winning, man-down goal with 32 ticks left on the game clock.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team earned a big win in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play on Saturday over Cazenovia College. The final score was 18-7. The Wildcats got out to a great start, scoring 14 goals in the first half while holding Cazenovia to just three goals. The Wildcats took that lead and held on to it in the second half to earn their sixth consecutive NEAC win of the season.

The Wildcats are now 4-0 in NEAC play and are tied for first place with Keuka and Morrisville.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's lacrosse team earned a blowout win on Sunday over North Eastern Athletic Conference opponent Penn State Abington. The Wildcats got out to a red hot start scoring 14 goals in the first half to take a commanding 10 goal lead. The team did not take their foot off the accelerator in the second half scoring another seven goals. The final score of the game was 21 - 7 in favor of the Wildcats. SUNY Poly had three players score five or more points in the game and had four players score three or more goals.The Wildcats are now 4-3 overall with a 3-0 record in NEAC play.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcat women's lacrosse team took down Lancaster Bible College on Saturday in a 22-8 game. The Wildcats got out to an early 8-3 lead in the first half and added to it in the second by scoring 12 goals. Kayla Prosinski (Endwell, N.Y.)  had a huge day for the Wildcats. The junior led the ‘Cats in goals scored, draw controls, ground balls, and caused turnovers .The win brings the Wildcats season record to 3-3 with a 2-2 record in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play.

    HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team earned their second win of the season on Wednesday over Houghton College. The Wildcats scored a season high 22 goals in the game to earn the 22-14 win. The Wildcats took the lead first on a goal in the fourth minute of the game and never looked back. In the win, Kayla Prosinski broke the record for most points in a single game with 13.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team earned its first win of the 2019 season on Saturday 20-16 over D’Youville College. The Wildcats were down 3-1 in the first 10 minutes of play but went on a 6-1 run to end the first half to take a three goal lead into halftime. The second half was a tight battle. The Wildcats jumped out to a commanding 20-12 lead with just seven minutes left in regulation, but a four goal run by the Spartans kept things interesting. The win was the Wildcats first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win of the season.

    MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team lost to Utica College on Monday 19-7 in the Wildcat’s home opener. The Utica Pioneers got off to a hot start, jumping out to an early 4-0 lead before the Wildcats scored their first goal. The Wildcats would score two in the first half to cut the lead to two goals, but the Pioneers scored 13 unanswered goals to take a commanding lead. The Wildcats did not give up the fight. They scored five of the last seven goals in the game.

    MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women’s lacrosse team has two schedule changes for upcoming games. First, the game against SUNY Potsdam originally scheduled for March 19th has been postponed and rescheduled for April 18th. The game will still be played at Potsdam and is scheduled for a 4:00 PM start. Second, the game originally scheduled for a 1:00 PM start against Lancaster Bible on March 30th will now be played at 12:00 PM on the same date.
