MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats are heading to the NCAA Championship Tournament for the fourth time in five seasons after earning the North Eastern Athletic Conference’s auto-qualifying bid. The NEAC Champion Wildcats found out on Monday that they had been matched up with the #1 Nationally Ranked Tufts University Jumbos. The matchup with the Jumbos will be the Wildcats second of the 2019-20 season. Full Story

The Wildcats entered the game undefeated in conference play and kept their spotless record with a convincing win in the Championship game. The Wildcat defense was stifling, allowing just 23 points in the first half to the Morrisville State Mustangs. The Wildcats also dominated on the glass and in the paint to earn the win. The final score of the game was 71-58. The Wildcats will now await their seeding in the NCAA Tournament. The DIII Selection Show will take place on Monday, March 2nd at 2:30 PM.Full Story

The Wildcats will face off with Morrisville State in the NEAC Championship Game after the Mustangs took down the Lancaster Bible Chargers in the second NEAC Semifinal. WBB: Four Wildcats Earn NEAC All-Conference Selections.LATHAM, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its 2019-20 Women’s Basketball All-Conference selections, honoring the top 18 players in the league regardless of position. The First, Second and Third Team are each comprised of six players as selected by the conference coaches. The three individual award winners are also determined by coaches’ votes. Wildcats Molly Burdick (Johnson City, N.Y.) and Jaida Washington (Elmira, N.Y.) were named to the First Team. Taylor Aybar (Woodside, N.Y.) and Kiersten Leos (North Bay, N.Y.) were Second Team selections.Full Story

February 22, 2020WBB: Wildcat Win Streak Alive and Well at 14 Games.MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team stayed undefeated in conference play with a win against Lancaster Bible on Saturday. The Wildcats got off to a fast start and never looked back building up 42-27 lead at the half. After the break, the Wildcats kept control of the game to finish up a 81-52 win.
