  • BASE: Wildcats Win Rubber Game of Cazenovia Series 14-8.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly baseball won game three of their North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) series with Cazenovia on Tuesday 14-8. The game was an important one for the Wildcats who are currently tied for sixth place with Penn College in the NEAC standings. The game was a high scoring affair. Cazenovia took an early 1-0 lead in the second, but the Wildcats would take back the lead in the bottom half go the inning. The Wildcats scored in bunches, plating multiple runs in the second, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, and the seventh innings of the game. The Wildcats are now 8-20 this season with a 5-6 record in NEAC play.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Athletics Department has announced that the baseball games against Wells this weekend have been postponed one day due to the inclement weather that passed through the Mohawk Valley on Friday. The Wildcats and the Express were originally scheduled to play on Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th. The games have been pushed back one day. As it stands, the Wildcats will now host Wells for a doubleheader on Sunday, April 7th with the first game starting at 1:00 PM at SUNY Poly?s Peter A. Spina Field. The third game of the series is tentatively scheduled for Monday, April 8th at 10:00 AM at Peter A. Spina Field with Hamilton College as a backup location.
  • BASE: Wildcats Split NEAC Double Header With Cazenovia.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats got off to a rough start in their first North Eastern Athletic Conference games of the season. In game one of the doubleheader on Wednesday the Wildcats got down big early and could not dig themselves out. Game two was a different story as a fantastic pitching performance led the Wildcats to a split in the doubleheader. The Wildcats are now 4-13 with a 1-1 record in NEAC play.
  • BASE: Games Changed for Cazenovia Series Due to Field Conditions.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Athletics Department has announced a change to the weekday series against Cazenovia originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd and Wednesday, April 3rd. The games scheduled for April 3rd have been postponed due to poor field conditions. Wednesday will now be a double header starting at 1:00 PM at SUNY Poly's Peter A. Spina Field. The third game of the series will be made up at a later date. 
  • BASE: Weekend Series With Cazenovia Rescheduled.

    MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Baseball games originally scheduled for Saturday, March 30th and Sunday, March 31st against Cazenovia have been re-scheduled due to poor field conditions. The games will now take place on Tuesday, April 2nd and Wednesday, April 3rd. As it stands, the games will change venue from Cazenovia to SUNY Poly’s Peter A. Spina Field with the Wildcats of SUNY Poly being designated as the home team. Tuesday’s double header will start at 1:00 PM with the single game on Wednesday beginning at 3:00 PM.
  • BASE: Wildcats Drop a Pair of Games to Ursinus on Day Two at RussMatt.

    LAKELAND, FLA. – The SUNY Poly baseball team lost two to Ursinus on Monday to bring their season record to 2-2 in 2019. The Bears of Ursinus got off to a hot start in both games, taking a 5-0 lead in game one and an 8-1 lead in game two. The Wildcats fought back into both games, but came up short. The final score in game one was 5-2 and the score in game two was 9-7.
  • BASE: Wildcats Win First Two Games of the Season Over Colby-Sawyer in Florida.

    WINTERHAVEN, FLA. – The SUNY Poly baseball team won their first two games of the season over Colby-Sawyer. The Wildcat offense had their first game adjustment period in game one, managing only five hits, but pushing across five runs. The bats came alive in game two as the Wildcats more than doubled up the hits with 13. The final scores were 5-4 and 7-3.
