MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team improved their season record to 7-7 on Saturday with a big win over Morrisville 80-54. The Wildcats came out of the gate hot, scoring 10 unanswered points in the first four minutes of the game. The Wildcats would build their lead to a high point of 26 points in the fourth quarter en route to their fifth consecutive conference win.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team earned an important NEAC North Division win over Morrisville State on Saturday 83-71. The Wildcats held the lead for the entire 40-minute game growing their lead slowly until the final buzzer. The key differences in the game were three-point shooting percentage, free throw percentage, and assists. The Wildcats held a solid edge in all three categories. Five Wildcats had double-digit scoring totals in the game.
CAZENOVIA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team rattled off their third consecutive North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win on Wednesday at Cazenovia 63-58. SUNY Poly and Cazenovia played a tightly contested game that saw six ties and four lead changes. The first quarter saw both of the largest leads of the game with Cazenovia going up five points early and SUNY Poly taking a seven-point lead late in the quarter. The rest of the game was a battle as neither team could carve out a distinctive edge. The win brings the Wildcat season record to 6-7 (4-0 NEAC). Cazenovia’s loss has them at 3-10 with a 1-3 NEAC record.
CAZENOVIA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team earned their third NEAC win of the season on Wednesday in an 82-66 win at Cazenovia. The Wildcats went up early and never relinquished the lead. The Wildcats built their lead as high as 22 in the game, shooting 56% from the field. They knocked down a team-high 10 three-pointers in the win. SUNY Poly improved their record to 6-6 (3-1 NEAC) while Cazenovia falls to 4-9 (2-2 NEAC).
ABINGTON, Pa. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team improved to 3-0 in NEAC play with Saturday’s win over Penn State Abington. The Wildcats jumped out to an early 10 point lead in the first quarter behind a seven-point quarter by Taylor Ann Day (). The second and third quarter was tightly played with Abington fighting back to take the lead late in the third. The Wildcats put the game away in the forth with a dominating 15 point advantage in the quarter. The final score was 72-59. The Wildcats are now 5-7 with a 3-0 NEAC record.
ABINGTON, Pa. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team improved to 2-1 in NEAC play on Sunday, winning the second of their two-game road trip in thrilling fashion over Penn State Abington. Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) became just the eighth member of the 1,000 point club at SUNY Poly in the game. Jake Kulakowski (Brewerton, N.Y.) hit the game-winning put-back layup with just two seconds left on the clock to complete what was an impressive comeback for SUNY Poly. The final score was 60-59. The Wildcats are now 5-6 this season.
HARRISBURG, Pa. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team improved their record to 4-7 on Saturday with a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win against the Penn State Harrisburg Nittany Lions 67-55. The Wildcats jumped out to an early nine-point lead in the first and continued to build the lead. The ‘Cats led by as many as 26 points late in the third. The win improves the Wildcats record to 2-0 in NEAC play. The Nittany Lions are now 3-8 with a 1-1 NEAC record.
HARRISBURG, Pa. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team was beaten on Saturday in the first game of their two-game North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) road trip. The Wildcats struggled in the first half, allowing Harrisburgh to take a 13 point lead into the locker room at the half. The second half was played much closer, but SUNY Poly was unable to cut into the lead. The final score was 72-60 in favor of the Nittany Lions. The Wildcats are now 4-6 with a 1-1 NEAC record. Harrisburgh is 6-5 with a 2-0 record in NEAC play.
Pittsford, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team traveled to Pittsford on Sunday to take part in the Woodcliff Hotel and Spa Tournament hosted by St. John Fisher. In the tournament which featured the Wildcats, St. John Fisher, Cortland, and Pitt.-Bradford SUNY Poly was matched up with the host Cardinals. The Wildcats lost in the first round by a score of 82-68 but answered that loss with a 22 point win over Pitt.-Bradford on day two. The Wildcats are now 4-5 this season.
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball team headed south for their semi-annual winter break trip. This season, the women headed to Ft. Lauderdale to take part in the Cruzin Classic. In their first game, the Wildcats were matched up with the Hastings College Broncos. The Wildcats struggled right out of the gate, getting outscored 24-6 in the first quarter. And ultimately losing 70-49. In the second game the Wildcats also suffered a loss 73-69 at the hands of Johnson & Wales.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team got off to a good start in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play with a convincing win over Penn State Berks. After getting off to a slow start the Wildcats gained control ending the first quarter up by five. In the second they would start to get some separation going into the break leading 39-25. Berks would come out of the half hot to fight their way back into the game cutting the Wildcat lead to seven. Then the Wildcats would make one final push, controlling the fourth quarter and winning the game by a final score of 69-50.
MARCY, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team won in dominant fashion against North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opponent Penn State Berks. The Wildcats would score 10 unanswered points to open the game holding Berks scoreless for almost seven minutes. The Wildcats built a lead as high as 31 in the first half going into the break leading 43-15. SUNY Poly would go on to win by a score of 94-63.

The Wildcats got behind in early, but a big run in the second quarter gave them a lead which they held for the entire second half. With the 70-60 win, the Wildcats are now 2-2 this season. Utica is 5-2.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team lost a close 85-82 game against the Utica College Pioneers. The Wildcats played a strong first half going into the locker room up 42-36. The second half the Wildcat offense struggled as the Pioneer offense took off to build up a lead late to seal the game.
ALBANY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team lost a tight game on the road on Saturday to non-conference opponent Sage College. The Wildcats and the Gators played a close game, trading the lead eight times in the 40 minute game. SUNY Poly led by as much as seven points midway through the first half, but Sage would turn the deficit upside down, taking a seven-point lead themselves with three minutes left in the first half. The final score of the game was 65-63. The Wildcats fell to 2-2 this season while the Gators improved to 4-2.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball won their first game against the Purchase College Panthers by a score of 61-47. The Wildcats offense played their strongest game of the year they shot 37% from the field but only 15% from three and made 11-15 free throws. Purchase falls to 0-4 on the season while the Wildcats improve to 1-2.

The Wildcats struggled offensively shooting 37% from the field and 25% from three. The Continentals improved their season record to 2-0 with the win while the Wildcats fall to 0-2.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team took down Plattsburgh St. on Thursday in the Wildcat’s home opener 71-54. The Wildcats played a great game on both sides of the ball. The Wildcats shot 40% from the field and knocked down four three-pointers en route to the 17 point win. The win was the Wildcats second consecutive against the Cardinals and third in the last 10 years.

The Wildcats struggled to get anything going on offense in the game shooting just 28% from the floor. The Continentals improved their season record to 2-0 with the win while the Wildcats fall to 0-1.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s soccer team was eliminated in the first round of the NEAC Championship Tournament on Tuesday in a 3-0 game with Keuka at home. SUNY Poly struggled to get the offense going in the game. Keuka scored two goals in the first half to take an early lead. The Wolves would add another goal in the second half to take a commanding lead. With the win, Keuka advances to the NEAC Final Four in Harrisburgh this weekend.
WILLIAMSPORT, PA. - The SUNY Poly women’s soccer season came to an end on Tuesday in the Quarterfinal Round of the NEAC Championship Tournament. The Wildcat loss came at the hands of Penn College, the #4 seedin the NEAC Playoffs. Penn College and Poly played a closely matched first half which ended 1-1. The second half was all Penn College as they added three goals to their score while holding SUNY Poly scoreless.
COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s cross country team took runner-up at the NEAC Championship Race for the second consecutive season. The race was hosted by Cobleskill St. who went on to capture the NEAC title in the race. Five Wildcats earned NEAC All-Conference Awards after finishing inside the top 21.
COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s cross country team finished fifth in the North Eastern Athletic Conference’s 2019 Championship Race. The race was hosted by SUNY Cobleskill who ultimately captured first place in the race, earning the NEAC Championship Trophy. The Wildcats had a solid showing in the race, leading to two Wildcats being named to All-Conference Teams.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s soccer team earned a 3-1 win on Saturday on the Wildcats annual senior game. The Wildcats got out to a quick lead, scoring three goals in the first half. Prior to the game the three seniors from this years team M’Kenzie Bradshaw (Oswego, N.Y.), Samantha Rishe (Ogdensburg, N.Y.), and Devin Baratto (Valley Stream, N.Y.) were honored before the game with a short ceremony.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The SUNY Poly men’s soccer team traveled down to Gallaudet for a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC). The Wildcats and the Bison played a heavily contested game that went down to the wire. SUNY Poly was ultimately able to pull off the win 3-2 to remain undefeated in NEAC play.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Women’s Volleyball team defeated local rival Utica College for the second time this season on Thursday night (25-18, 20-25, 25-18, 25-17). Makayla Hulett (Colonie, N.Y.) led the Wildcats with a career-high 23 kills to go along with 13 digs and three block assists. The win brings the Wildcats to an 8-12 overall record.
DELHI, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats Women’s Volleyball team traveled to SUNY Delhi for a non-conference matchup on Columbus Day. The Wildcats took the match in straight sets (25-23, 31-29, 25-17). With the victory, SUNY Poly improves to 7-12 overall.
LANCASTER, P.A. - The SUNY Poly Women’s Volleyball team traveled to Lancaster Bible for two matches on Saturday. The Wildcats dropped their first match to Gallaudet in straight sets (25-21, 27-25, 25-18). In the second match of the day, SUNY Poly fell to Lancaster Bible in four sets (25-18, 25-18, 22-25, 25-19). With the pair of losses, the Wildcats drop to 6-12 overall and 2-4 in NEAC play.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Wells College in five sets on Thursday evening (25-21, 22-25, 19-25, 25-22, 10-15). The Wildcats move to 6-10 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

The Wildcats struggled to get the offense rolling, getting shut-out for just the second time this season. The loss brings the Wildcats season record to 9-3. Hamilton is now 4-5-1 in 2019.
