Brandon Misiaszek enters his third season at the helm of the Wildcats men’s lacrosse program for the 2018-19 season.  

Misiaszek took over the Wildcat Lacrosse program after serving as an assistant Coach at Utica College for two seasons, as an assistant coach at Hamilton College for three seasons, and as an assistant coach at MVCC for one season.

Misiaszek's Wildcat program has been improving each season after its 2012 introduction. In 2018, Misiaszek's second season at the helm, he led the Wildcats to their best record in program history with a 9-5 record, falling just a game shy of earning a spot in the NEAC Championship tournament.

As a student-athlete Misiaszek led SUNY Cortland to three consecutive NCAA National Championship Appearances. In his time at Cortland the Red Dragons went 69-13 and went to the NCAA Tournament all four seasons. Misiaszek was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2009 National Championship when he scored five goals to lead the Red Dragons to a 9-7 victory over Gettysburg.

Misiaszek recorded 102 career points at Cortland on 73 goals and 29 assists over four seasons. He was a Third Team All-American Midfielder in 2010 and was named to the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III Senior North-South Game after recording 39 points on 31 goals and eight assists. 

Misiaszek graduated in 2006 from nearby New Hartford High School where he led the Spartans to a Section III title in lacrosse. He was first team all-league in both lacrosse and football and was the MVP of the Spartan football team. Brandon graduated from Cortland in 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Economics and most recently earned his MBA in Economic Crime and Fraud Management from Utica College in 2016.
