GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) is proud to announce its 781 Scholar-Athlete selections from its 12 full-member institutions and six associate member schools for the 2018-19 academic year.
SUNY Poly finished third overall among member institutions of the NEAC with 71 Scholar-Athletes. The number is just shy of the Wildcat record of 74 set in 2017-18. The award recipients broke down to 26 in the fall, eight in the winter, and 41 in the spring. The baseball team led the way for the Wildcats with 10 NEAC scholar-athletes. Men's Volleyball, Women's Lacrosse, and Softball tied for second with eight NEAC scholar-athletes on their rosters.
In order to be selected, a student-athlete competing in a conference-sponsored sport must achieve a combined grade point average of 3.4 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing on his or her team. A breakdown of scholar-athletes totals by institution and a key for the scholar-athlete list are provided below.
